Alers Jungle Gyms is a Family–business and is managed informally to let clients feel at home. The business was established on 1 July 1989 with a personnel of 3, manufacturing wooden toys. Since then the business has grown into South Africa’s leading steel jungle gym manufacturer and developer.
In June 2023 our business celebrated 34 years of excellence and unashamedly ethical business practices with our clients. Today we have more than 10 000 jungle gyms in our rental market and thousands more sold. We pride ourselves in the fact that we deliver the most cost effective services to our clients.
What we do
We specialize in manufacturing top quality steel outdoor playground equipment and the rental of that playground equipment. Our business stands to be the manufacturer with the biggest range and variety of outdoor playground equipment. As leaders in this environment we proudly state that all products are designed and developed in-house, with welcome input from our clients. You can trust our company to build the safest and best jungle gyms for your children.
We extended our playground equipment range by adding a range of wheel toys (scooters, tricycles, etc) under the product name Penny Wheel Toys. Our hiring-department extends from private hiring for household use, to Playgrounds, Nursery Schools, After Care Centres, Primary Schools, Estates, Sports grounds, Shopping Centres, Churches, Lodges, etc.
